PDM’s Public Statement on Gaza Ceasefire
Gaza’s joy is our joy, even amidst the incomprehensible barbarity of the Zionist regime. We are relieved at even a moment of relief and share in their happiness. Yet, we remain cautious, vigilant, and unwavering.
Our fight for Palestine does not begin or end with this ceasefire. We are reminded that before this genocide began, we stood firm in our commitment to justice. And long after the world declares this genocide over, we will remain steadfast. Our goal is not mere peace, but justice. Our aim is not temporary ceasefires, but total liberation.
Victory is not found in negotiations orchestrated by imperial powers. Victory is with Allah, the Most High, and His divine promise: “Indeed, the promise of your Lord is truthful” (Quran 11:119). These words anchor us. These words guide us. These words give us hope.
Reject Normalization
Normalization, in the context of Palestine, refers to the process by which relationships, activities, and agreements are established with the Zionist settler-colonial state of Israel without addressing its occupation, oppression, and violations of Palestinian rights. This term includes normalization via diplomatic agreements, economic partnerships, cultural exchanges, and even rhetorical frameworks that equate the experiences of the occupier with the occupied.
Betrayal in Jenin
The Palestinian Authority (PA), under the leadership of Mahmoud Abbas, operates as a dictatorship that functions to uphold the Zionist settler-colonial system, oppressing Palestinians rather than protecting their liberation. This betrayal of the Palestinian struggle is evident in its recent actions in Jenin, where the PA's violent crackdown against resistance groups has underscored its role as a subcontractor for Israeli interests.
What is Al Thawabet?
Al Thawabet, meaning "constants," are the core, uncompromising principles of the Palestinian liberation struggle. These red lines, established by the Palestinian National Council in 1968, represent the demands on which there can be no sacrifice. They have been upheld for decades as the foundation of Palestinian resistance and national identity.
October 7th and Beyond
On October 7th, Hamas's Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was initiated with the dual purpose of liberating Palestinians who are unjustly imprisoned by the “Israeli” Zionist regime and amplifying the Palestinian cause on a global stage.
Evacuate Fadi and Ali Action Alert
Fadi Al-Whidi, a 25-year old Al-Jazeera cameraman, who has risked his life for the last year to document “Israel’s” atrocities across Gaza was targeted and shot in the neck by the Zionist occupation on October 9th, 2024. Images of Fadi stunned the world as they were reminiscent of the targeting of Shireen Abu-Akleh, two years earlier, laying face down while his colleagues and friends shouted his name in desperation hoping for a response.
A week later, Fadi fell into a coma and remains in coma today, requiring to be evacuated from North Gaza to receive life-saving medical treatment. The Zionist occupation continues to deny his evacuation while he fights for his life. We demand action #SaveFadiAlWhidi
Ali Al-Attar, another 27-year old Al-Jazeera cameraman, was injured in a Zionist airstrike in Deir Al Balah on October 8th, 2024. Like Fadi, Ali requires evacuation for critical medical attention to save his life. Ali and Fadi are amongst many journalists who have worked tirelessly to bring the truth to light, and who have been deliberately targeted by the Zionist occupation in an attempt to commit their crimes in Gaza freely.
Kamala or Trump? No Vote for Genocide.
The political landscape in the United States continues to disillusion and betray those who seek justice for Palestine. Both the Democratic and Republican parties have firmly entrenched themselves as complicit actors in the genocide against Palestinians. The rhetoric of "support for Israel" is not simply an issue of foreign policy—it is the endorsement of ethnic cleansing, systematic displacement, and war crimes. Kamala Harris, like so many in power, masks her complicity behind a veneer of progressivism. Her identity as a woman of color is weaponized to distract from her policies, which directly fund and legitimize the Zionist regime's brutal colonization of Palestine.
The Greater Israel Project
The vision of “Greater Israel” has roots in early Zionist thought, particularly in the writings and speeches of prominent figures such as Theodor Herzl, who envisioned a Jewish state that would stretch from the Nile to the Euphrates. This idea is based on biblical claims, which were appropriated by the Zionist movement to justify territorial expansion and the displacement of indigenous populations. Zionist leaders have often referred to this notion, not merely as a religious ideal, but as a political objective necessary for the survival and security of the settler colony.
The Oslo Accords of 1993
Being driven by a desire for power and blinded by the illusion of diplomatic progress, the signing of Oslo Accord I in 1993 marked the moment when the Palestinian Liberation Organization, under Yasser Arafat, recognized “Israel” becoming a puppet to the occupation. The accord, driven by secret talks in Norway and heavily influenced by Western interests, was fundamentally flawed from the start. "Israel" sought international legitimacy while continuing the illegal occupation of Palestinian land. The accord was brokered by the U.S. President Bill Clinton.

Zionist Lies and Crimes
Following a genocidal invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Zionist occupation forces exhibited a recurring pattern of violence, targeting hospitals and killing Palestinians with intuitive precision. This well-documented pattern has become almost a muscle memory for the reoccurring Zionist violence. The bombing of Al Ahli Baptist Hospital was one of the first attacks in this sequence of terror and destruction regarding Hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
The Naksa of 1967
The 1967 Naksa, or “setback,” was an attempt by the settler colony of “Israel” to brutally finish the job of the 1948 Nakba. We call it “setback” as it was instrumental in “Israel’s” violent land grab of what was left of historical Palestine including the West Bank and Gaza Strip and the additional territory of the Golan Heights in Syria and Sinai in Egypt, resulting in “Israel” tripling in size (27,000 sq km).
