Focus on Qur'an and Tafseer
During Ramadan, most Muslims dedicate themselves to reading the Holy Qur’an in its entirety, one Surah (chapter) per day. Read more or watch videos about understanding the Holy Qur’an analytically (tafseer), as well as Laylat ul Qadr (the Night of Power).

Ramadan During Genocide
This Ramadan is unlike any other. We are observing this holy month against the backdrop of a live, televised, genocide occuring in Palestine - where Palestinians do not have food for suhoor (pre-dawn meal) or iftaar (sunset meal). This lesson is a painful realization of Palestinians’ past and current Ramadan experiences while under brutal Zionist colonial rule committing war crimes.

Laylat-ul-Qadr, often called the Night of Power or the Night of Decree, stands as one of the most sacred occasions in Islam. It falls within the last ten nights of Ramadan, marking a period rich with opportunity for believers to gain immense rewards for their acts of faith.

Eid Celebrations and Beyond
Here, we explore the two types of Eid, the traditions it encompasses, and an understanding of how Gazans prepare. This Eid, let's celebrate with a purpose, mindful of the hardships our brothers and sisters in Gaza endure. It's a chance to shift from feeling guilty about our blessings to truly being grateful for them. But gratitude alone isn't enough; we must use what we have to make a difference. Let's promise to keep working and mobilizing until we see a free Palestine.
