Trump is Anti-Palestine

Al-Quds, or Jerusalem, holds deep religious and cultural significance for Palestinians. In 2018, Donald Trump became the first U.S. president to move the American embassy to Jerusalem, declaring it the capital of “Israel.” This decision wasn’t just symbolic—it reinforced decades of American support for the Zionist settler colony. By making this move, the U.S. sent a clear message- it does not recognize a future for Palestinians in their own land. Despite the US's role in previous fake “peace” talks between Palestine and ‘Israel’, the US's continued funding and support of Zionism and refusal to hold "Israel" accountable for anything, signals the lack of true commitment to Palestinian right to self-determination and return to their homeland.

It exposed the deep connection between Zionism and American colonialism. The so-called "Jewish state" was never just about a homeland, it was about establishing a Western outpost in the Middle East. The U.S. has long used Israel as a tool to secure its own imperial interests, and Zionism has always fit neatly into that agenda. Trump’s embassy move was just another reminder that ‘Israel’ is not an isolated project—it is an extension of the same colonial ambitions that built America itself.

Al-Quds is the heart of Palestine and home to Al-Aqsa mosque, the third holiest site in Islam. For Palestinians and the nearly two billion Muslims worldwide, Al-Aqsa is a beloved place. Since the early days of the occupation, “Israel” has made Al-Aqsa a primary target, aiming to provoke unrest and destroy Palestinian presence. In 2000, Ariel Sharon’s inflammatory visit to Al Aqsa ignited the Second Intifada. But the attacks never stopped. Year after year, during Ramadan, IOF terrorists storm the mosque, brutalizing Palestinian worshippers in their most vulnerable moments—barring them from entering for prayer, beating, choking, and tazing them while they worship. Tear gas fills the air, doors are broken down, and windows shattered, all in a calculated effort to incite and dehumanize.

The hypocrisy in hostage narratives is evident in the differing treatment of Zionist-held detainees and Palestinian hostages. War criminal and Zionist Prime Minister, Netanyahu, always intended to resume the genocide in Gaza after the return of “Israeli” hostages, while Hamas fulfilled its agreed releases. Meanwhile, Netanyahu delayed freeing Palestinian prisoners without criticism from Trump, who fully supports him. Both leaders never intended for the ceasefire to last. They enabled the dehumanizing of Palestinians and justified the mass killings in Gaza. Trump condemned Hamas for halting hostage releases due to Israeli violations but remained silent on Israel’s refusal to free Palestinian prisoners.

Trump sees ethnic cleansing as a real estate deal, actively pressuring Egypt and Jordan to accept Palestinian refugees by threatening to cut U.S. aid. His goal is to normalize their expulsion, erase their claims to their homeland, and prevent their return. And his support for Netanyahu’s genocide shows that, for him, Palestinian extermination is not a tragedy but a policy objective for political and financial leverage.

The colonial empire’s extremism extends beyond Gaza to U.S. students supporting Palestine. Trump has used ‘Palestinian’ as a slur and called for deporting foreign students who joined pro-Palestinian protests, and heavily pushing an anti-democratic agenda. Both Trump and Netanyahu have made clear that their goal was never peace but the continued genocide of Palestinians once all Zionist hostages are released.
