Letter to Congressman Landsman

Office of Congressman Greg Landsman

1432 Longworth House Office Building

Washington, D.C. 20515

This letter is not just a call for action; it is a final notice from an extensive coalition of thousands of your constituents, local businesses, religious leaders and centers, political campaign donors and nationwide advocacy groups. We are united in our grave disappointment with your stance on the Palestinian cause and hereby pledge to withdraw all support for your campaign until we witness a genuine change in your position, and our demands are met without compromise or delay:

Immediate Ceasefire in Gaza: Your passivity and silence concerning the ongoing turmoil in Gaza are indefensible. We demand your immediate support for a permanant ceasefire. Anything less will be viewed as a blatant and egregious neglect of human life and an endorsement of genocide.

End Military Funding to Israel: The continuous flow of American military funding to Israel, under your watch, is intolerable. This funding must cease immediately, as it contributes to the suffering and oppression of the Palestinian people.

End the Gaza Blockade: The illegal blockade on Gaza is a humanitarian catastrophe. We insist on its immediate lifting. Your failure to act on this matter makes you complicit in this humanitarian crisis.

Mandatory Meeting with Constituents: Your disregard for repeated attempts by us, your constituents, to engage with you is a dereliction of your duty. We demand an immediate face-to-face meeting to discuss these urgent matters. Failure to do so will be taken as a sign of disrespect and indifference to the voices you were elected to represent.

Consider this letter a final admonition. We urge you to align your policies with our demands and take concrete steps to support the Palestinian cause. We are prepared and committed to withdrawing all backing for your campaign and will actively work to inform the public of your failure to represent our interests. None of us, in good conscience, could ever support anyone who refuses to accept and act upon these demands.

We have initiated a comprehensive online campaign to bring your inaction and indifference to light. This is not a mere political maneuver; it is a reflection of our commitment to justice and human rights.

We expect a prompt and appropriate response, reflecting the urgency of the situation. This is about more than politics it is a moral imperative.

Signed,

Palestine Diaspora Movement (PDM)
